Paul O’Neill

Paul qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Ulster in 2005. He worked in private practice and SINI until 2008 and took up a full time time post with SINI in 2009 as a Soft Tissue Specialist.

In Gaelic football he has worked with club football and the County footballers of Derry since 2007 (National League winners 2008). In Rugby he has worked with Ulster under age squads and the Ulster Academy.

Paul has worked with a wide number of sports and travelled extensively internationally with cycling, walking, rugby and athletics. With the Irish athletics team he has travelled as a soft tissue specialist to the European Championships in Finland 2007, with the Irish walkers to the European cup in 2007 and 2008.

Paul worked as head physiotherapist at the European Mountain Biking Championships for the Irish team in Holland in 2009. He has been the soft tissue specialist with Irish team training camps and with SINI on their warm weather training camps.

More recently Paul was a member of the physiotherapy team which travelled to the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 as part of Irish athletics.
