Emma made her senior international debut against Scotland in August 2006. Her first major selection was for the European Championships in 2007 with further selections occurring for the Olympic Games Qualification Tournament in 2008; and Champions Challenge II and European Championships in 2009. Emma currently has 76 caps (19 Aug 2009).

Emma was Ireland Player of the Year in 2008/9 and has won the Ulster Winemark Shield with Randalstown.
