Martyn is a full time athlete based in Newtownards and joined SINI in 2009.

Martyn Irvine is currently a member of the Cycling Ireland Team Pursuit Squad, which recently broke the long standing Irish pursuit record and finished 5th at the Chinese round of the World Cup.

Cycling Ireland has detailed that Martyn is an integral part of the 6 man National Elite Track Squad, which is coached by Sport NI funded and former Commonwealth cyclist Tommy Evans.

Martyn’s focus is on the 2009 Track World Cup, building on the successes the team achieved in the Chinese and Danish rounds.
