Top Northern Ireland Sports Awards Salutes Local Heroes18th January 2012
The 2011 Belfast Telegraph Sports Awards, supported by Sport Northern Ireland and sponsored by Linwoods, were held this week (16th January) at Belfast’s Ramada Plaza Hotel and honoured sporting heroes from both the amateur and professional fields, including a trio of SINI-supported athletes.

McConvey prepares for the biggest race of his yearBelfast cyclist Connor McConvey is currently preparing for the biggest race of his year in Australia at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. Connor, who races professionally for Focus De Brink, a Dutch based cycling team, will be competing in the Men’s U23 Cross Country Olympic event on Friday afternoon.
