Archer Mark Nesbitt Takes Sixth Place in European Senior Championships

Sports Institute Northern Ireland (SINI) archer Mark Nesbitt has finished sixth in the European Senior Championships, his first-ever senior event.

Mark had progressed through to the quarter-finals of the competition, defeating several European champions on the way, before losing out in a sudden death-shoot off and finishing just one place behind the current Olympic gold medallist.

Mark is funded by Sport Northern Ireland’s Athlete Support Programme.
