BBC Audience Council NI - Your Voice at the Heart of the BBC

02 June 2011

The BBC Audience Council NI invites you to an informal discussion on BBC radio and television services on 20 June at the BBC - Blackstaff House, Gt Victoria Street, Belfast.

The event aims to bring together people with an interest in BBC services, in particular, BBC Radio 5 Live/5 Live Sports Extra, the BBC News Channel and BBC Parliament.

The Council would like to know what audiences value most about these services and where audiences think they might be improved.

It is interested in the views of occasional or regular listeners and viewers, whether speaking as an individual or on behalf of a particular group or interest.

The discussion will be held in two sessions.Session One [12 - 1pm] will focus on Radio 5 Live and 5 Live Sports Extra, and

Session Two [1.30 -2.30 pm] on the BBC News Channel and BBC Parliament, with a light buffet lunch served during an interval between the sessions.

The Audience Council would be delighted if you can attend to share your thoughts at either, or both, of these sessions – and join them for a buffet lunch.

There will also be an opportunity to share any views you may have on other BBC programmes and services.
