Lisa takes GOLD at Irish Open

Kearney took the title just one week after taking 3rd at a European Continental Cup in Sweden. Lisa lost the semi final to eventual winner and current European Silver medallist Eva CSERNOVICZKI of Hungary but did manage to record impressive wins against 2008 Junior European and Junior World medallists and former Swedish and British Open Champions along the way.

This takes Lisa’s medal tally to five from five in Internationals since returning to competition in August.

She also became Ireland's first- ever female Continental Cup medallist (formerly EJU Senior ‘B’ Tournament) and Ireland’s first Continental Cup medal of any kind in 14 years.
