The win marks Madeline’s fourth Irish Open title and came just three weeks her triumph in the Australian Open, where she made history as the first Irish woman to win the competition.

The world number six now has her sights set on next week’s World Open in Egypt, which she enters as the No. 6 seed.

Madeline commented:

‘Winning the Irish title is a good confidence boost for me ahead of the World Open. I was quite happy with the way I played and hopefully I can up my performance in the Worlds.’

Madeline has also talked about the role that SINI has played in her recent good form, saying:

‘SINI have been an integral part of my support over the last four years and it’s great to have people who know me and know what it takes for me to perform.’
