Madeline Perry Wins Singapore Masters
03 August 2011
Squash star Madeline Perry has claimed her ninth WISPA title, with victory in the Singapore Masters.

The current World Number 3, who receives services from the Sports Institute Northern Ireland, defeated England’s Laura Massaro in the final, going two sets up, 11-7 and 11-8, before her rival came back to take the third 11-5. However, Perry’s resilience saw take the fourth set 11-9, and with it the title in just over an hour of play.
Next up for the 34-year old from Banbridge will be the Australian Open in Canberra, where Madeline will be seeking to defend her title after becoming the first Irish player to win the event last year.
