NI Netball Team Progress to World Cup Quarter Finals

07 July 2011

SINI would like to congratulate the Northern Ireland netball team on reaching the quarter-final of the 2011 World Cup in Singapore.

SINI has been working with the squad over the last number of months on a strength and conditioning programme, and the team’s hard work has clearly paid off as Northern Ireland heads into the quarter-finals for the first time ever.

After emerging victorious from their most recent match against formidable opponents Samoa, Northern Ireland will now face England, and captain Noleen Lennon is relishing the opportunity to make even more history in Singapore, saying:

“We’ve already exceeded expectations but we would love to claim another notable scalp in the coming days. This is where we want to be, rubbing shoulders with the best teams. It won’t be easy, but you wouldn’t expect it to be at this stage.”

SINI would like to wish the team all the very best.
