SINI Athlete McKillop Sets New World Record

Congratulations to SINI Athlete Michael McKillop who yesterday broke the world record in the T37 1500 metres.
Michael, who was competing at the World Paralympic Championships in Christchurch, set a new record time of four minutes 14.7 seconds, knocking almost two seconds off the previous record.

The win gives Michael a huge boost as he heads into this evening’s race, the final of the T37 800 metres, an event in which he is the current Olympic champion.
