Madeline Perry - Squash
Medal hope Madeline Perry qualified for the quarter-finals of the women's squash event.
The number four seed defeated Sri Lanka's Sharya Guruge 11-3 11-7 11-5 and then eased past Australia's Lisa Camilleri 11-4 11-4 11-5.
Eamonn O’Kane - Boxing
Middleweight Eamonn O'Kane beat Sri Lanka's Ranil Jayathilakage 5-0. O'Kane wasn't entirely satisfied with his display but was pleased to get past his Sri Lankan opponent.
"I would have liked to have boxed a bit better but it would have been worse if I'd boxed brilliantly and got beaten," said O'Kane.
"I fight a New Zealander next and it will take a better performance than that to beat him.
"But I'm not here to make up the numbers, I'm here for a medal and that goes for the rest of the Northern Ireland team."
Martyn Irvine - Cycling
Martyn Irvine was top UK finisher in the individual cycling pursuit final as he placed an impressive sixth.
Mel Nocher - Swimming
Melanie Nocher (1:02.60) qualified for the 100m backstroke semi-finals but was unable to progress further.
After clocking 1:03.53 in the morning heats, Nocher set a personal best in the semi-finals (1:02.60) in the semi-final but it was 1.46 seconds outside qualification for the final.
PDC Athletes
Mark Montgomery - Wrestling
Wrestler Mark Montgomery, who was Northern Ireland's flag-bearer at Sunday's opening ceremony, finisher seventh in the 96kg event after being beaten 13-0 by the home country's gold medal favourite Anil Kumar in his opening bout.
Swimming
Clare Dawson (58.81) and Bethany Carson (58.98) both failed to progress from the 100m freestyle heats.
