Madeline Perry defeated in Doha semi-final

SINI athlete Madeline Perry has missed out on a place in the Qatar Classic final after losing 3-0 to Rachael Grinham in Doha on Sunday.

The Australian took under 30 minutes to overcome the Banbridge woman 11-6, 11-8, 11-7.

Grinham quickly raced into a 7-1 lead in the first game and never looked back despite Perry's best efforts.

Perry was previously beaten by Grinham in the British Open final and Hong Kong Open semi-final.

Lisa Kearney beaten in Quarter Finals

SINI athlete Lisa reached the Quarter Finals of the European Under-23s in Turkey this weekend and was beaten by eventual winner, Elena MORETTI (ITA).
