Sports Institute Northern Ireland Congratulate NI Commonwealth Games Team

Sport Northern Ireland (SNI) and Sports Institute Northern Ireland (SINI) would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Team and Council on their successes in Delhi.

Dr Shaun Ogle, Director of Performance Sport of Sport Northern Ireland and Executive Director of the Sports Institute Northern Ireland had this to say,

“Sport Northern Ireland (SNI) and Sports Institute Northern Ireland (SINI) are delighted to see medals in boxing, bowling, shooting and cycling, equally significant are the signs of emerging success with young athletes in other sports.

We would like to congratulate not only the athletes who competed at the Games but also the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Council for providing a positive games environment.

We hope that the success from Delhi will generate further momentum and belief in the systems that both SNI and SINI are putting in place.”
