Stirling Sets New Ireland Innings Record
09 September 2010
Congratulations to SINI cricketer Paul Stirling on his record breaking innings of 177, making him the first Ireland player to reach 150 in a one-day international, and giving him the 13th highest ODI score.
The 20 year old’s huge knock lifted Ireland to their best ever total in ODIs of 325 for eight, in a match against Canada in Toronto on Tuesday, giving Ireland a 92-run win for the day and tying the one day series at one match apiece.
