UK Sport Fast Track Programme at SINI

The Programme has been running annually for the past 5 years and operates to fast- track the development of some of the UK’s best young service staff from different disciplines within sports science and sports medicine.

This year over twenty practitioners from across the UK high performance system gathered in Belfast to participate in development workshops and to hear about the development of SINI.

During the visit SINI service providers collaborated with Roger Keenan (Ulster GAA) to run a practical session introducing the group to the skills of Gaelic football. This session challenged the participants to understand the context of a sport many had not encountered before and also gave them an opportunity to try out their skills.

The session also gave SINI staff the chance to demonstrate the type of work that has been done with Gaelic Football.
