Strength and Conditioning Courses

Since the formation of the UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) in May 2004, there is now a professional body to represent the interests of Strength and Conditioning coaches and those interested in S&C in the UK. The UKSCA aims are:

  • To establish and maintain high professional standards for UK Strength & Conditioning Practitioners;
  • The promotion and dissemination of good practice, knowledge and research appropriate to strength & conditioning practitioners
  • To facilitate communication among UKSCA members
  • To represent the interests of the membership of the UKSCA

The UKSCA held its Inaugural Annual Conference in May 2005 at Loughborough University. Membership is open in Associate and Full status. Full membership is open to those S&C practitioners who have undertaken the UKSCA Accreditation process. For further information go to www.uksca.org.uk
